Jumanji ⚛️ and The Jungle Book 🏞️ (click to read more)
My head was spinning, I was feeling tired and thirsty and I could not open my eyes. But, somehow I managed to.
It was all gloomy. I noticed I was tied to a chair in a wooden cabin and a bear was seating in front of me. It gave chills down to my spine. I closed my eyes again.
"Don't be frightened. My name is Bhaloo. If we wanted to kill and eat you, we would have done it already. Don't worry", it said.
I could not imagine. It all felt like a dream. Last thing I remember- I was playing Jumanji with little Aarya on the terrace that Raju mamaji gifted on her 10th birthday and it was my turn to play and I was supposed to find the nearest village and jump into the lake to find home.
No. Jumanji can't be real. It's all fictional. This is a dream. I convinced myself.
"Drink this. Raksha says, this will help you in your dizziness ", Bhaloo spoke again. No other choice was given to me. I drank it. As I opened my eyes completely, I saw a few monkeys, a black panther and wolves around me.
I realized, none of it was a dream. I was in a dense jungle, where these animals knew my language.
I had no other option than to talk to them and to find out a way to get out of this jungle.
I heard this bear speaking to Black Panther, "Bagheera, what should we do now? Should we hand him over to Sher Khan instead of Mowgli".
I could not believe my ears. I had accidentally entered the world of Jungle Book. These animals actually had names. Bhaloo, Bagheera, Raksha, Bandar-log and others.
Bagheera growled and asked me- how did I find them? I tried to explain about Jumanji. No one believed me.
"We live in a good part of this jungle. You are human. You must be having some intentions. Stop making excuses. What do you want? Mowgli, wood, flesh of our animals, part of this jungle for your home?", Bagheera shouted.
"I've seen. Humans always want one or the other thing from us, they are not trustworthy. Handing over you to Sher Khan seems to be a good option for us", Hathi from outside spoke. I could see him from the cabin window.
I was pleading with them to stop. I asked for a wayout of the jungle. I started to cry.
Raksha- the mother wolf handed some pleasant petals to wipe my tears and ordered me to release myself from the chair. Till now, only Raksha was kind to me.
I ignored everyone and started to speak with Raksha. I explained about the game again. I even told her confidently that if I wanted anything from them, I'd have had weapons wih me. But I had nothing.
I was not sure about weapons though.
Later, they agreed to hear my case in a meeting in front of all the animals of the jungle. They offered me some delicious fruits and water and I was tied again to a chair by Bandar log in the same cabin. Meeting was scheduled in the afternoon. Those monkeys were keeping an eye on me.
Later, in a meeting it was decided that my eyes will be covered and Bagheera and Bhaloo could then drop me near to the village lake in the night.
As planned, Bhaloo covered my eyes and asked me to sit on him and hold him tightly. They dropped me near the village.
I slept under the tree near the village that night as I was very tired. At midnight, it was very cold. I opened my eyes and started to search the lake in a direction told by Bagheera.
There was no option of living in this unknown world. Without my friends and family. Aarya was still waiting for my comeback. As soon as I found the lake, I was scared, but I jumped into it.
The next thing I remember- I woke up in my room on my bed with my blanket.
